ABOUT MORALES
A family story,
rooted in Colusa.
Our story began with caring for landscapes. It grew into a commitment to designing and building them well.
OUR BEGINNINGS
Colusa, 1997.
After immigrating to the United States, Jose Fernando Morales worked in landscape maintenance at Dumar Industries. He sharpened his skills and became a lead landscape technician before opening Morales Gardening in Colusa, California, in 1997.
The maintenance business grew through work in the local community, caring for farmers’ homes, duck clubs, and other properties. Mr. Morales continues to maintain properties in the Colusa area today.
He also wanted to offer landscape installations. With Rose’s help, he started Morales Gardening & Landscape Construction, extending the family’s work into design, installation, and construction.
The details matter.
Today, our construction team works with a local architect and offers in-house design. We place a strong emphasis on quality control, following construction details, and sound landscape practices—from the plan to the work on site.
